Can't get enough

We just cannot get enough of "nature" up in the mountains and it was another weekend full of animal sightings. 

Above is an Osprey. 

There is a protected nesting island on Shadow Mountain Lake and we had never seen one before. On average, they are 24 inches in length and have wing spans of 6 ft. 

Yet, another moose!!! We have seen moose every weekend around our cabin since the end of April. The fun part is that each weekend, the ones we see, seem to get bigger and bigger.

I took this pic next to our neighbor's house so that you could see the size of this fellow. 

He was huge.

This moose had the biggest antlers we had seen so far.

He loved all the dandelions (above).

In our driveway (below). 

So, Tyson, Jack and I were all out front in our driveway just hanging out when our neighbors came out to tell us there was a big moose behind our house. So we went inside to look through the back windows. 

We walked in, looked out the window and he was already walking to the front and through our driveway (where we just were!!!!!). 

Thank heaven our neighbors came out and said something. I would have totally freaked out if we were out front when this guy came around the corner.
