Whew. This was the most jam-packed Halloween yet.
First, on Friday we met our friends for lunch who were in town from Indiana and our friend showed up in a banana costume. The kids loved it and of course had to try it on.
Second, we headed up to Grand Lake for the festivities on Saturday. We spent the afternoon trick or treating on main street and had a blast. The merchants did a great job and made it really fun for the kids.
Third, we headed over to Winter Park in the evening for their fall festival in the main square. They didn't do as good as a job. In fact, only three of the merchants actually handed out candy. All the others were giving out book marks, straws, and other "junk". I get the healthy thing but come on...it's Halloween. Kids don't want a book mark. They want a snickers (and so do the parents...ha ha)
Oh well, the kids still had a good time.

Tyson was a ghost and Maddox was a "spooky" spider. Oddly enough, they were the only ghost or spider we saw all day.

After trick or treating we met some friends for a snack and Tyson and Maddox had to try out the jump rope they got from one of the merchants.
